Who we are

We never set out to start a church.

Just a few people, a screen, and an honest question: what if following Jesus could feel human again?

For a long time, a lot of us loved Jesus but couldn’t find ourselves in church anymore. The lights, the stage, the sense that faith was something performed once a week and packed away. We weren’t angry. We were just tired, and quietly looking for something more honest.

So we started talking. On video, on Wednesdays, at noon. No band, no building, no agenda except to read a little of what Jesus said and then actually talk about it, doubts and all. People kept showing up. Turns out a lot of us were hungry for the same thing.

That’s all Conversations is: a table you can pull a chair up to, from anywhere. We’re not experts. We’re fellow travelers who decided the questions were worth sitting with, together.

Done with church. Not done with Jesus.

A disciple of Christ, doing his best

“I’m not a pastor. I grew up believing in the priesthood of all believers, and I’ve spent years studying this, but I’m not here to tell you what’s right or wrong or how to think. We’re all theologians. This is for us to explore together: Jesus, faith, and you.”
